What is CNC Bending?
CNC (computer numerical control) bending, also called CNC forming, is the process whereby sheet metal is reshaped from a flat form. Using CNC bending technology you can produce almost any component design.
The bending operation takes place after the metal is cut. Therefore, this should be taken into consideration when designing parts. For example, very short flanges are often impossible to manufacture. Bending’s only competitor is welding. Both arrive at a similar endpoint, using different methods. We would recommend bending whenever possible.

We provide bending services for sheet metal and plate. Our CNC press brake is capable of performing a variety of complex folds due to our extensive tooling range.
Voldeo’s Bending capabilities depends on the length and angle of the bends required:
- Bed Length = 3000mm (max)
- Bending Thickness = 5mm (max)
- Bending Angle = 90° (max)
