What is Computer Aided Design?
Computer-aided design is the use of computers to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. This software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing.
CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print, machining, or other manufacturing operations. The terms computer-aided drafting (CAD) and computer aided design and drafting (CADD) are also used. CAD is an important industrial art extensively used in many applications, including automotive, shipbuilding, and aerospace industries, industrial and architectural design (building information modeling), prosthetics, and many more.

We can provide fast and accurate metal drawings, drafting and design based on your needs. From 2D metal drawings that accurately represent what the final result will look like through to 3D Renderings of the product. This is a major factor in cost reduction and precision, before the project has even kicked off.
We can also use your 2D drawings or 3D models as part of the sheet metal design process. We import them into our system, review them to ensure they can be manufactured using sheet metal, and make changes subject to your approval (if required) to produce the finished product. Once approved, we proceed to the next stage of sheet metal fabrication, such as cutting and folding.
